OREGANO

This potent herb contains up to 20 times more cancer-fighting antioxidants than other herbs, and holds its own against fruit as well. One tablespoon of fresh oregano has the same antioxidant power as an entire apple. And gram for gram, the herb has twice the antioxidant activity of blueberries.

It is also a natural antibiotic immune booster. Two of the plant’s volatile oils, thymol and carvacrol, have been shown to have antimicrobial and antifungal properties tough enough to kill some E. coli, staph, and salmonella germs.

Add it to your tomato sauce or sprinkle dried oregano on top of your pizza or pasta!
